Revealing the origin and early development of the Chinese nation in 5,000 years
The “Chinese Civilization Origin Exploration Project” is a major scientific research project that uses archaeological investigation and excavation as the main means to obtain relevant information, supports modern science and technology, and adopts a multi-disciplinary cross-research method to reveal the origin and early development of the Chinese nation in 5,000 years
Komiks. It was formally proposed in 2001. After several stages of pre-research, it completed the 4thCinema period in 2016. Wang Wei, one of the heads of the source exploration project and a researcher at the Institute of Archaeology of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, said at the press conference: “In the more than ten years since the implementation of the source exploration project, with the support of the State Administration of Cultural Heritage, we have carried out large-scale archaeological investigations and excavations at several important sites dating from 5,500 to 3,500 years ago. These sites are: the Liangzhu site in Yuhang, Zhejiang, Taosi site in Xiangfen, Shanxi, Shenmu Shimao site in Shaanxi, and Erlitou site in Yanshi, Henan.” Archaeology confirmed that the Central Plains had entered a civilized society 5,000 years ago
According to the introduction, at the Liangzhu site in Zhejiang,The inner city and a larger outer city were discovered, built about 5,000 years ago, with an area of nearly 3 million square meters. In order to prevent the ancient city from being damaged by floods, Liangzhu people built giant dams in the mountainous area north of the ancient city, and their engineering volume was the highest among the buildings of the same period in the world.
At the Taosi Site in Shanxi and the Shimao Site in Shaanxi, giant city sites with an area of 2.8 million or even 4 million square meters were discovered respectively. The social differences in these cities are severely divided, and high-level buildings are surrounded by high-level walls. During this period, the rank division reflected in the tombs was very obvious, and the small tombs had nothing, and there were only one or two pieces of martial arts or pottery; large tombs could have hundreds of burial objects, which were not only exquisitely made, but also indicated rank identity. “Society like this is obviously no longer the original tribal alliance we think should have entered the national stage.” Wang Wei said, “So we feel that the Central Plains region has entered the primary civilization stage during this period.” Guan Qiang said that based on the scientific summary of China’s field archaeology achievements over the past 90 years, and through joint research on multidisciplinary research, the research team of the Discovery Engineering also proposed the outstanding characteristics of China’s entry into a civilized society from the aspects of social division of labor, class differentiation, central cities and compulsory power.
The results of the Exploration Project will be written into the textbooks for primary and secondary school students
“The origin and early development of Chinese civilization are a history that has not been directly recorded in words. “Babaylan, one of the heads of the Source Discovery Project, said Zhao Hui, professor at the School of Archaeology of Peking University, said, “To this day, we can describe this history, thus filling the gap in this critical period in history. At the same time, the origin and early development of Chinese civilization are also part of the origin and early development of human civilization in the world. Therefore, our work has also filled the gap in the history of world civilization. ”Babaylan
In the future, the results of the Babaylan project will be written into the textbooks for primary and secondary school students. The 5,000-year brilliant starlight of Chinese civilization will sow the seeds of cultural confidence in every young heart. “History is a very important subject, and it is of great significance to students in patriotism, cultivating national self-esteem, and enhancing cultural confidence. “Shen Jiliang, inspector of the Textbook Bureau of the Ministry of Education, said that the content of the textbook will be added in a timely manner, and the results of historical archaeology and research will be continuously updated and enriched.
