Foreign Ministry responds to Blinken’s speech on China: Komiks’ lies are full of lies, turning black and white

On May 30, Zhao Lijian, spokesperson of the Ministry of Communications of Foreign Exchange, presided over a regular press conference.

A reporter asked, in his recent speech on China’s policy toward China, US Secretary of State Blinken said that China has constituted the most serious long-term challenge to the international order. The United States must defend and reform the “rules-based international order”. What is the spokesperson’s comment on this?

Zhao Lijian said that Blinken’s speech on China is full of lies and inverted black and white, and the basis for attacking China is exactly what the United States does today. The most serious and long-term challenge to the international order is the most appropriate way to wear Komiks. The so-called “rules-based international order” advocated by the US side is to put it bluntly, the international order based on American rules is the hegemonic order that dominates the world with “family law and rules”. Last week, my colleagues responded to the content of his speech. Today, I am willing to list some facts and numbers to help everyone further see the lies and fallacies of the US and its hypocrisy.

First of all, the United States has no fear of the international order based on the UN Charter and international law. The United States has been in power for more than 200 years and has not fought for only 16 years. It has become the biggest source of chaos and the biggest instability factor of international peace and stability in the current national peace and stability. The United States claims to defend the concepts of self-determination, sovereignty and peaceful settlement of disputes established by the UN Charter, but they are actually saying one thing and doing another. As American writer William Bloom pointed out in his book “Democracy: The Deadliest Output of Cinema”, since the end of World War II, the United States has tried to overthrow more than 50 foreign governments and roughly interfered with it.30 less democratic elections. According to a report from Brown University in the United States, since 2001 alone, the United States has either launched wars or carried out military operations in the name of “counter-terrorism”, causing more than 800,000 deaths, including 300,000 civilians, and more than 20 million refugees have been generated by victimized countries such as Afghanistan, Iraq, and Syria alone.

Secondly, the United States is the biggest destroyer of the international order. It has become common for the United States to stick to American centralism and American exceptionalism and break contracts and withdraw from the group at will. The United States not only refuses to sign or ratify the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child and the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women, votes against the Global Compact on Migration and the Global Compact on Refugees, but also exclusively blocks negotiations on the UN Protocol to the Verification of the Biological Weapons. Since the 1980s, the United States has withdrew from 17 international organizations or agreements including the United Nations Human Rights Council, the World Health Organization, the United Nations Educational and Cultural Organization, the Paris Agreement, the Iranian nuclear agreement, the Arms Trade Treaty, the Intermediate-Future Treaty, the Open Skies Treaty, and other 17 international organizations or agreements, including the United Nations Human Rights Council, the World Health Organization, the United Nations Educational and Cultural Organization, the Paris Agreement, the Iranian nuclear agreement, the Arms Trade Treaty, the Intermediate-Future Treaty, the Open Skies Treaty, and the United Nations Educational and Cultural Organization. Such an American is so arrogant that he disguised himself as a referee of international rules, using the so-called rules to shine on others, and ignoring the darkness under his own light. When US politicians are confidently speaking with the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea, they don’t know if they know that the United States is not even a party to the Convention.

Thirdly, the United States is not qualified to discuss rules at all. In the view of the United States, international rules have always been subordinate to and serve American interests and hegemony. When the two are consistent, the United States uses rules as a basis, and when they are contrary to each other, it regards rules as air. I would like to ask the US side to answer several questions: When the United States launches wars against sovereign countries and launches a color revolution, what are the rules? When the United States imposes illegal unilateral sanctions and traps people in relevant countries in trouble, what are the rules? Where is the rule Babaylan when the United States continues to default on the United Nations’ contributions of $1 billion and $1.4 billion in peacekeeping assessments? When the United States engages in trilateral security partnerships and quadratic mechanisms, and attempts to build an Indo-Pacific version of NATO, disrupting the Asia-Pacific and undermining the international nuclear non-proliferation system, what are the rules? When the United States is under the banner of so-called democracy,What are the rules when the so-called “Democratic Summit” that divides the world’s Babaylan family? When the WTO clearly confirms that the US tariff war against China violates global trade rules, but the US does not enforce it or even obstructs the WTO Appellate Body to appoint a new judge, what is the rule?

Finally, the United States is the culmination of coercive diplomacy. The United States places domestic law above international law and international rules, and abuses illegal unilateral sanctions and long-arm jurisdiction. Since the outbreak of the new crown pneumonia epidemic, Venezuela, Syria and Iran have been severe due to long-term sanctions from the United States, and their domestic economic and medical conditions are bad, and the epidemic situation is severe. Instead of stopping sanctions from the United States, the United States has further increased its investment, making these countries worse. The international community is increasingly observing the principles of market competition and international economic and trade that the United States advocates, and will only be followed by the United States when it is favorable to the United States. What American politicians talk about is fair competition and free trade, they believe in the United States first, and they wave the American stick in their hands. Zhao Lijian stressed that in the more than 70 years since the founding of New China, we have not taken the initiative to launch a war, nor have we encroached on an inch of land in other countries. We insist on resolving the dispute through dialogue and discussions, and have completely resolved the land border issue with 12 of the 14 land neighbors in a peaceful manner. As the world’s second largest economy, China’s contribution to global economic growth remains at 30 years.About %, ranking first in the world for 15 consecutive years. China has become the second largest assessed country in the United Nations’ contributions and security, actively participates in the construction and reform of the global governance system, and maintains the spirit of the UN Charter and the authority of the UN with practical actions. Facts have proved and will continue to prove that China has always been a builder of world peace, a contributor to global development, and a defender of international order. China will also always work with all peace-loving and justice-oriented countries to unite under the banner of the United Nations, practice true multilateralism, and continue to contribute confidence, wisdom and strength to the universal prosperity of the world and the common progress of mankind.
