What are the ancestors of dinosaurs? How many steps are there in “turning into a stone”? Why do you look east after death? .Komiks….Traveling billions of years to explore the mysteries of ancient times together

Let’s enter today’s (October 1) special section “Return to the Jurassic·Dinosaur Fossil Examination of Yunnan Lufeng Dinosaur Fossils”. In 1938, the first dinosaur skeleton excavated, studied and mounted by the Chinese themselves – Xu’s Lufeng Dragon, came from Lufeng, Yunnan. Therefore, Lufeng is known as the hometown of Chinese dinosaurs. There are still a large number of ancient dinosaur fossils buried underground in Lufeng. Recently, new discoveries have been made here. Villagers in Lufeng City, Yunnan accidentally discovered two dinosaur fossil skeletons exposed by heavy rain while carrying out greening operations. The Chinese Academy of Sciences and the local dinosaur fossil protection center urgently launched rescue excavation work.

What I see now is Yunnan Lufeng Dinosaur National Geopark. Here, running animals, growing plants, and ubiquitous microorganisms, and various Cinema organisms coexist in harmony. The beauty of the world is composed of rich life forms, and diverse organisms run through the entire life course of the earth. Biodiversity protection has also become an important part of the joint construction of the earth’s life community.

From today (October 1) to October 7, every 16 o’clock in the Cinema day, we will focus on Lufeng, Yunnan, and return to the Jurassic with the excavation of dinosaur fossil scientific research to visit prehistoric animals that lived about 200 million years ago.

  Emergency rescue excavation is underway

This new dinosaur fossil discovery has two excavation sites: No. 1 and No. 2. At present, the excavation of some skeleton fossils of a dinosaur at the excavation site of No. 1 has basically finished, and the staff of Cinema are preparing for the final move. The fossil will soon be transferred to the fossil restoration center for restoration. The excavation of another slightly larger dinosaur fossil skeleton at the excavation site of No. 2 has reached a critical stage. What is the situation at the excavation site on the 2nd? Let’s first connect with the CCTV reporter Zhu Huirong, who is at the excavation site on the 2nd dinosaur fossils.

In fact, the fossil excavation work on site has lasted for nearly a month. Earlier, some dinosaur bone fossils at the excavation site of No. 1 have been unearthed. Our reporter recorded the excavation process of this fossil skeleton using time-lapse shooting method, let’s take a look.

  Welcome to “Jurassic World”

We just learned about the unearthing process of dinosaur fossils at the excavation No. 1 through a short video. Now, the fossils that have been packaged are being sent to the Lufeng Dinosaur Museum not far from the excavation site for restoration. There is a huge dinosaur matrix in the Lufeng Dinosaur Museum, all displayed are excavation and restoration in Lufeng Babaylan‘s dinosaur bone fossils. These precious dinosaur fossils have been restored to show us a real Jurassic world. Let’s follow the reporter’s camera to see it.

  Dinosaurs: From birth to extinction

After seeing so many dinosaur fossils, let’s briefly learn about the history of dinosaurs from birth to disappearance. About 250 million years ago, the earth entered the Triassic period, and the existing fossil evidence showed that early dinosaurs appeared on land about 230 million years ago. By the end of the Triassic period, a mass extinction event occurred on Earth, and this extinction event caused many tetrapod animals to appear. Disappearing on Earth provides a huge opportunity for dinosaurs to develop. About 200 million years ago, the Earth entered the Jurassic period, and dinosaurs stood out and dominated the land. In China, a large number of dinosaur fossils from the Jurassic period were unearthed, such as the Lufeng Dragon, Yunnan Dragon, Jinshan Dragon, Chinese Dragon, Middle-aged Chuanjie Dragon, Time Dragon, and late Mamenxi Dragon. About 140 million years ago, the Earth entered the Cretaceous period, and the dinosaur species reached its peak. However, about 66 million years ago, the dinosaur mass extinction occurred, and all non-bird dinosaurs were extinct in this event, and the land overlord no longer exists.

Dinosaur fossils unearthed at the excavation site of the No. 1 is being repaired

Cinema Reviewing the development history of dinosaurs, we will focus on the newly unearthed dinosaur fossils unearthed this time. Now the dinosaur fossils unearthed at the excavation site of the No. 1 have been sent to the restoration site. Let’s follow our lens and enter the fossil restoration center of the Dinosaur Museum to see the restoration situation on site.

How many steps does “turn into stone” go?

Founds of dinosaurs are the main basis for our current research on dinosaurs. Scientists study ancient geography through fossils and explore the earth’s climate change and biological evolution process. But not all dinosaurs can turn into fossils after death. Today’s “What Things About Dinosaurs” let us follow the description of the sand painter. Paint, see what kind of fate it is that can finally “turn a dinosaur into a stone”.

  China’s “Looking for Dragons”

In the extinct life, dinosaurs are one of the most fascinating biological groups. Countless scientists are looking for their figures around the world, trying to “decipher” the codes from ancient times. “Dinosaur Laboratory” reveals the dinosaur research for you. Today we will show you how scientists have established and enriched their understanding of Chinese dinosaurs step by step in China.

The past is a key to the future. Through the study of dinosaur fossils, we step by step closer to our understanding of the essence of life. Today, our dinosaur exploration journey comes to an end first, and tomorrow (October 2) we will continueReturn to Jurassic.

In order to better present the details of scientific discoveries and to allow you to experience the Jurassic World more immersively, we have also specially built an immersive mixed reality system ahead, so that the dinosaurs restored from the skeleton fossils can be seen in real time at the scientific expedition site, realizing live interactive broadcasts in the field. Traveling through billions of years at a glance.

Today (October 2), our dinosaur fossil excavation work has been in the second day. The latest situation is that we excavated the cervical part of the dinosaur, but only three cervical fossils were found. Let’s take a look and see the three cervical vertebrae here. Dinosaurs like Lufenglong have very long cervical vertebrae, and now we have only excavated three of them. Let’s experience it intuitively through virtual models.

You can now see dinosaurs like Lufenglong. There should be nine cervical vertebrae, but from yesterday to now, we can find only three fossils in the cervical vertebrae, which means that there are many missing parts of the cervical vertebrae. Not only the cervical spine, but judging from the current situation, no fossils on the head were found.

When we arrived at the scene, today’s excavation work expanded the excavation area of the cervical spine and skull part and searched in the surrounding soil layers. The people responsible for the excavation work on site are still scientists from the Chinese Academy of Sciences and staff from the Lufeng Dinosaur Fossil Protection Research Center.

Yesterday, we restored the environment in which this dinosaur lives through 3D scanning and virtual system, and entered the Jurassic world in our virtual. There were no flowers or grass on the earth back then. Some were ferns, pine trees and ginkgo. If I could really travel to the early Jurassic period, then the best gift to Lu Fenglong may be the pine and cypress on my hand, which may be the food that dinosaurs love to eat.

But today it seems that for this dinosaur, this home is also full of dangers. For example, its natural enemy, the carnivorous dinosaur, also lives here.

Where are the fossils?

Fossils are the product of time. When the dinosaur dies, the hard tissues in the body have been deposited for tens of millions or even hundreds of millions of years and have been “turned into stone”. These stones that have traveled through time and space come to us with the code of life, helping us to open a window to study prehistoric life. So, where are dinosaur fossils distributed on the earth? We will take you to learn more about it in the form of sand paintings.

Dinosaurs have ruled the earth for more than 160 million years, so dinosaur fossils are distributed very widely in the world. Some places are relatively concentrated, such as the United States, Canada in North America, Tanzania and South Africa in Africa, Argentina and Brazil in South America, China and Mongolia in Asia, etc.

China is a veritable dinosaur country, and different types of dinosaur fossils have been unearthed in almost all provinces.. For example, central Yunnan (Lufeng) and southern Sichuan (Zigong) in southwest China, Liaoning in northeast China, Xinjiang, Gansu, Inner Mongolia in northwest China, Guangdong in southeast China, Henan in central China, Shandong in east China and other regions, all left traces of dinosaurs.

Lufeng City, which was excavated this time, is a famous dinosaur town. In 1938, Chinese paleontologists discovered complete dinosaur fossils for the first time here, and then dozens of dinosaur fossils were excavated one after another. The study found that there are 24 species of dinosaurs in the Jurassic Red Layer in Lufeng and surrounding areas. Lufeng is also the area with the largest number of early Jurassic dinosaur fossils in my country.

  Accidental death of two dragons

Scientists study dinosaurs through fossils. What contains not only a dinosaur information, but often a story about a food chain. Today’s “If Dinosaurs Can Talking”, we continue to visit Lufeng’s Dinosaur Museum to see what new discoveries the reporters have made there.

In a more conspicuous place on the slope, there are two such dinosaur fossils, which have been entangled together for nearly 200 million years. This is extremely rare in the history of world dinosaur excavation, but it is not a romantic scene.

Let us get to know the two protagonists. A dinosaur is the 17-meter-long Anachuan Street Dragon. It is a plant-eating dinosaur. In layman’s terms, it is a vegetarian. The other dinosaur is the 8-meter-long Golden Age Dragon, which is an absolute carnivore. How can two dinosaurs be distinguished when facing the fossils on the slope? On the left side of the fossil, Wang Tao led the reporter to see the clues.

According to Wang Tao’s analysis, the fossils of the two dinosaurs are quite intact, and they should not be the result of external forces such as the movement of the earth’s crust after death. So, what kind of death scene is this? With the help of archaeological experts and sculpture artists, we try to restore the scene.

With everyone’s joint efforts, the clay sculptures were completed.

What happened between the huge vegetarians and relatively short but fierce meat eaters?

Wang Tao, Director of the Lufeng Dinosaur Fossil Protection Research Center: My inference is that the Chuanjie dragon was eating plants at that time, so the carnivorous dragon secretly ran behind it to attack. It might be that several of them came together, and this one attacked just near its butt. Then, (Anachuanjie dragon) just fell to the ground and pressed the carnivorous dragon down.

Newly discovered dinosaur fossils are under restoration

Yesterday, our fossil restoration site had begun to repair the claws of a dinosaur. So what part of the dinosaur will the restorators repair today? What treasures will be from ancient times today?

Among the more than 300 dinosaur fossils, the spine is the largest group of bones, roughly divided into the cervical vertebra, dorsal vertebra, sacral vertebra (also known as belt bone, equivalent to the human sacrum), and the caudal vertebra. The part that Master Wang is practicing is called a pulse arc, and basically there are animals with tail vertebrae, so this one should be a tail vertebrae.

Master Wang said that the spine of carnivorous dinosaurs is different from that of vegetarian dinosaurs. This is quite interesting. Is this true? We ask the dinosaur expert, Dr. Xing Lida from China University of Geosciences, to introduce it to us.

Dr. Xing Lida introduced that the neck structure of carnivorous dinosaurs is indeed very complex, and the neck structure of some vegetarian dinosaurs is not simple either. Lufenglong is a vegetarian dinosaur with a small head and a thick and long neck. Each cervical vertebra is flat and long. This structure makes it easy for its neck to stretch very long and far away. This is the neck of a Chinese dragon. The Chinese dragon is carnivorous, with a large and heavy head. Its neck is rounder and thinner, with short joints and tight bites, which can make the head bite more powerful.

After scientific research and analysis, this complete dinosaur fossil was from the early Jurassic period. It was not a carnivorous species, but a brand new species. Yang Zhongjian named this dinosaur “Xu Lufenglong” to commemorate the German paleontologist Xu Nai who helped him. The emergence of the new species of dinosaurs has made Lu Feng famous in one fell swoop.

In 1995, Lu Feng, which had already caused a sensation in the world, once again made a major discovery. After Lu Fenglong, Chuanjielong from the mid-Jurassic period was discovered by chance.

June 14, this is the exact day recorded in Wang Tao’s diary. They and their group came to the fossil site and through investigation, they found that this was an unprecedented huge dinosaur skeleton, and the deposited era was about the Middle Jurassic period 160 million years ago. In this way, the Sichuan Street dinosaurs emerged. Excavation found that within a range of 450 square meters, there were more than 10 individual dinosaur fossils, and they were huge, exceeding 20 meters. Home and foreign media have called this place a “dinosaur cemetery”.

Over the past 80 years, hundreds of complete and scattered dinosaur bone fossils have been unearthed in Lufeng, covering three periods of early, middle and late Jurassic, dating from 200 million to 140 million years ago. There are 13 dinosaurs named in Lufeng.

Walking into today’s (October 3) special section “Return to the Jurassic·Yunnan Lufeng Dinosaur Fossil Science Experiment”. Today is the third day of the scientific research of Lufeng dinosaur fossils in Yunnan. We continue to return to the Jurassic with the pace of scientific research to visit prehistoric animals that lived 200 million years ago.

The site found that the work is in progress

Let’s first pay attention to the No. 2 scientific expedition site. During the scientific expedition work yesterday (October 2), the workerThe remaining cervical spine and skull fossils were not found. What is the situation at the scientific expedition site on the 2nd today? Is there any new clues today about the mystery of the lack of cervical spine and skull? Let’s first connect with CCTV reporter Zhu Huirong, who is currently on the No. 2 scientific expedition site.

  Evolution spans 160 million years

The scientific expedition work on the No. 2 is constantly advancing, and we are waiting for good news. The evolution of each species has gone through a long time. From the birth of the early dinosaurs to the demise of the last dinosaur, the evolution of dinosaurs is also the history of the changes in the earth’s environment. Today’s “What Things about Dinosaurs” lets us follow the description of the sand painter and return to those distant years.

As the Triassic period, 250 million to 200 million years ago, the climate on the earth began to become dry and hot, the swamp gradually disappeared, and gymnosperms began to flourish. There are two main types of tetrapods on land. One is the animal-hole species, which breeds mammals that include our humans; the other is the main dragon species, which includes the ancestors of crocodiles and birds. Among them, the hind legs that evolved towards birds began to become more and more developed, and they could even stand and walk on both feet. This branch evolved into a bird neck, including pterosaurs and dinosaurs. After a mass extinction incident between the Triassic and Jurassic, dinosaur species began to increase continuously, and giant sauropod dinosaurs began to appear. Since they had basically no competitors, they quickly occupied various continents and became land overlords. Entering the Cretaceous period, dinosaurs ushered in another great development, and new groups began to appear, and the dinosaurs hunted collectively, large carnivorous tyrannosaurus, etc., all developed to their peak period. At the end of the Cretaceous period, earth creatures encountered another major extinction event, and all dinosaurs died during this period.

What do dinosaurs eat?

Dinosaurs have disappeared from the earth for more than 60 million years. CinemaAlthough the era when dinosaurs “dominate the earth” has gone far away, through the research of the unearthed dinosaur fossils, we still have more knowledge about these former overlords of the earth. Today’s “If Dinosaurs Can Talking”, let’s study the “incubation guide” for dinosaurs.

  Most dinosaurs are “vegetarians”

As one of the most ferocious large animals on earth, dinosaurs generally have strong bodies and super biting power, and look like they are born to be bad Babaylan. But did you know that carnivorous dinosaurs only account for 35% of the total number of dinosaurs, which means that most dinosaurs are actually “vegetarians”.

In addition to Jiang Yiyuan’s Dragon, Lufenglong and Anachuan Street Dragon are also vegetarianferns, pine and cypress, ginkgo, palm, etc. are all delicacies in their eyes.

According to scientists’ speculation, their leisurely life should be like this.

In order to maintain metabolism, these huge guys must constantly send leaves into their mouths. They have to eat hundreds of kilograms of food every day. When they are tired, they drink water by the river. Sometimes they will eat stones to help digestion and enjoy the roaming in the lush Lufeng Basin.

In contrast, the teeth and body shape of meat-eating dinosaurs have completely different teeth and body shapes.

Study shows that the life of carnivorous dinosaurs should be like this.

Small carnivorous dinosaurs like to eat small animals, such as small reptiles, insects or mammals. For ordinary large carnivorous dinosaurs, their on-tradition food is the young of plant-eating dinosaurs such as Diplodocus, Thundersaurus, Mamen Cresaurus and Duck-billed Sado. The law of the prey on the weak is being performed every day.

Dinosaur fossils unearthed at the No. 1 scientific expedition site is under restoration

The past is a key to opening the future. We restored some dinosaur life scenes in the film just now and learned about their recipes. Next, we will go to the fossil restoration center to see what progress has been made in the fossil restoration work there and what interesting discoveries have been made. Wang Xi, please KomiksOkay, let me introduce to us the situation of the fossil restoration center.

Traveling for 100 million years and doing CT for dinosaurs

The importance of dinosaur fossils to humans in studying dinosaurs is self-evident, but how to better utilize these precious fossils is a science. Reconstructing the appearance of dinosaurs through fossil repair is an important part of the research. But after finding the fossil, how can we further explore the internal structure of dinosaurs? In the past, scientists had to grind away the fossils, grind one layer, and draw another layer for this. Today, technological advances can finally allow them to restore their internal structure without destroying the fossils. How did this be done? Today’s exploration of the Dragon lab will continue to take you to find out.

Of course, this is just a relatively basic analysis after CT scan. These original data must be further carefully sorted, classified and summarized to provide extensive basic data support for scientists’ subsequent research.

  Oriental Legend: Dinosaurs in China

From 200 million years ago to 66 million years ago, this is the time span of the dinosaur fossils currently discovered in China. Over 100 million years, from the early Jurassic to the late Cretaceous period, these fossils formed a nearly complete history of dinosaur evolution. Nearly 300 species also make China the country with the most species of dinosaurs found in the world. Next, let’s take a look at the footprints of dinosaurs in China through the data.

FromFrom the Shandong Peninsula to the top of the Tianshan Mountains, from Yunnan, which is famous for its biodiversity to the Northeast of Baishan and Black Water, the footprints of dinosaurs have been spread throughout China.

Scientists Babaylan found that about 80% of Chinese dinosaur species are mainly distributed in these eight places. Among these eight famous dinosaurs, Liaoning is the one with the largest number of dinosaurs found. Here, a total of 61 species of dinosaurs were found. In the early Mesozoic Cretaceous period, about 120 million years ago, the Rehe Biota was formed with the western part of today’s Liaoning. Here, there are dinosaurs with primitive feathers – Chinese dragon birds, and dinosaurs that can fly with four wings – small thief dragons; and the peculiar-food dinosaurs – parrottosaurus. In Yunnan, although the number of dinosaurs discovered in Babaylan is not the most common, it is the hometown of Chinese dinosaurs, because the oldest known dinosaurs in China were found here. The first dinosaur skeleton discovered, studied and mounted by the Chinese themselves – Xu Lufenglong, also comes from here. In addition, scientists also discovered Asia’s largest dinosaur, the giant Ruyang Dragon, about 40 meters long, in Henan; and in Sichuan, the terrifying giant predator, the Yongchuan Dragon, with a body length of 8 to 11 meters.

If you line up these dinosaurs according to their life years, their distribution is as follows: From the early Jurassic to the late Jurassic, scientists discovered a total of 106 species of dinosaurs. The Cretaceous period was both the peak period of dinosaurs and the period of mass extinction. Because it is closest to the current geological age, people have discovered the largest number of dinosaur fossil specimens during this period. In the early Cretaceous period alone, 103 species of dinosaurs were discovered in China; and in the late Cretaceous period, it may be related to the decrease in the number of dinosaur populations. Perhaps it was not discovered enough. There were fewer fossils discovered during this period than in the early stages. A total of 83 Chinese dinosaurs have been discovered.

Dinosaurs of different shapes have unveiled a mysterious Mesozoic world for us. And with the continuous discovery of scientists, there may be more unexpected knowledge about dinosaurs.

Walking into today’s (October 4) special section “Return to the Jurassic·Yunnan Lufeng Dinosaur Fossil Science Experiment”. Today we continue to return to the Jurassic to visit the site of the fossil dinosaurs in Lufeng, Yunnan, and try to “decipher” the codes from ancient times.

Scientific expedition is progressing in an orderly manner, and the fossils of the tail vertebra are basically exposed

At present, the scientific expedition work on a dinosaur fossil skeleton at the No. 2 scientific expedition site has reached a critical stage. What is the situation at the scene today? Are there any new discoveries for the dinosaur cervical vertebra and skull fossils found? Come and connect to the rightZhao Shuguang, a CCTV reporter at the CCTV site on the No. 2 scientific expedition site, will introduce us to the situation on the scene.

The Secret of Dinosaurs Heading to the East

Dinosaurs live in the Mesozoic Era 230 million to 66 million years ago. At such a long time, people today can only study them through precious fossils. It is precisely because of this that they leave us with many unsolved mysteries. Today’s “If Dinosaurs Can Talking”, let’s take a look at the puzzles about dinosaurs in Lufeng, the hometown of dinosaurs.

How exactly did dinosaurs become extinct?

The dinosaur dynasty spans the Triassic, Jurassic, and Cretaceous, and they were once the “overlords” of the earth. The reason for the extinction of dinosaurs has always attracted speculation, and there are many theories circulating. Let’s learn about it through a short video.

The dinosaur extinction occurred between the Mesozoic Cretaceous and the Cenozoic Paleogene 66 million years ago. In addition to dinosaurs, many species of plants and invertebrates have also become extinct in this incident. But mammals and birds survived and evolved into dominant animals in the Centozoic era.

Most experts and scholars believe that this extinction originated from an asteroid impact event. The impact explosion raised smoke and dust that covered the sky and blocked the sun, blocking the sun, a large number of plants died, global temperatures dropped, vegetarian dinosaurs starved to death in large numbers, and carnivorous dinosaurs also died of food exhaustion. Of course, there is also evidence that during the end of the Cretaceous period, volcanic activity around the world was active, and a large amount of volcanic smoke and acid gases were ejected into the air. The light is greatly reduced, the air is acidified, the surface plants die rapidly, the ecosystem collapses, and eventually the dinosaurs die. Studies have also shown that many dragon groups have entered a period of decline in their own evolution before the extinction incident, and have perished themselves because they are not adapted to the environment.

The Secret in Fossils The microscope tells you

Through these precious dinosaur bone fossils, in addition to restoring the physical characteristics of the dinosaurs, what information can scientists decode from it? With such questions, we will continue to take you to explore the dinosaur laboratory today.

I hope that as the scientific research work continues to progress, the mystery of dinosaurs, such as prehistoric creatures, can also be gradually unveiled. Today’s Yunnan Lufeng dinosaur fossil scientific expedition has come to an end. Welcome to continue watching “Return to Jurassic” tomorrow.

Welcome to today’s (October 5) special section “Return to the Jurassic·Yunnan Lufeng Dinosaur Fossil Science Experiment”. Today is the fifth day of the scientific research of Lufeng dinosaur fossils in Yunnan. We continue to follow the scientific research and return to the Jurassic to visit prehistoric animals that lived about 200 million years ago.

The on-site work of the No. 2 scientific expedition has entered the “hard bones” stageKomiks

First pay attention to the No. 2 scientific expedition site. During the work yesterday (October 4), the tail vertebra of the dinosaur fossil has gradually been revealed. We also learned about the role of the dinosaur tail through the introduction of experts. Today, the on-site work has entered the “hard bones” stage. What interesting discoveries will be made? Let’s connect with CCTV reporter Zhao Shuguang.

Great Conjecture of Lufeng’s geographical environment during the Jurassic period

A careful friends Komiks can see from the scene that the surface color of our scientific research site is somewhat unusual. Why is this? Follow our footage below and find the answers together.

Exploring the Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden of Chinese Academy of Sciences

In the program two days ago, we introduced the dinosaur recipes to you. The main food of carnivorous dinosaurs is vegetarian dinosaurs, while vegetarian dinosaurs mainly feed on plants such as ferns, pine, cypress, ginkgo, and palm. Today, our reporter will take you to the Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden of the Chinese Academy of Sciences to take a look at the plants from the dinosaur era.

The dinosaur fossil restoration work has entered the critical stage

After seeing the food that dinosaurs love, we turn our attention to the restoration site. In yesterday’s report, the dinosaur fossil restorationist introduced us to how to match an artificial skull to the dinosaurs with missing skulls. Today, the restoration work has entered the critical stage. The restorationist needs to repair the fine and crisp vein arc of the dinosaur fossil from “head” to “tail”. What are the difficulties in tackling difficulties, and how can the skilled fossil restorators resolve them one by one? Komiks come to connect with CCTV reporter Zhang Yijin, who is ahead.

Chengjiang Animal Fossil Group: Revealing the Cambrian “Big Life”

The dinosaur fossils discovered at the No. 1 scientific expedition site have been going on for hundreds of millions of years. Seeing these fossils, we couldn’t help but ask, how long ago was the source of life? Next, we will go to the Cambrian period, 530 million years away from the present, which is a milestone in the history of life on earth. Life exploded in the ocean, and the “big relay of life” on the earth began. In Chengjiang, Yunnan, there is such a place. There is the early Cambrian biota with the highest known biodiversity in the world, with more than 200 marine biological fossils, witnessing the initial outbreak of life. Let’s take a look.

  Luo Ping Biota: Witnessing LifeNirvana

Along the timelineCinema, we come from the Cambrian to the end of the Permian, about 250 million years away from now. This is where the Paleozoic and Mesozoic converge. After the tree of life explodes in the ocean, it grows all the way. However, by this period, frequent crustal movements caused the most serious mass extinction of species in history, completely erasing almost all life phenomena from the earth.

The relay of life breaks here, how long has it been used to be reborn in Nirvana? In 2007, Chinese scientists discovered a fish fossil in Luoping, Yunnan, and gradually solved the answer.

From the outbreak of life in the Cambrian period, the evolution of organisms on earth has been constantly. From the prosperity of marine life to the landing movement that has lasted for hundreds of millions of years. After a long period of evolution, in the Mesozoic era, dinosaurs became the real overlord on land, and the earth entered the era of reptile evolution with comprehensive development of sea, land and air. The great relay of life was one after another, until 200,000 years ago, when humans came on stage. So small but so lucky that we have become a part of the great relay of life on Earth, and it is every life in these relays that form this colorful and rich world. Today’s program comes to an end first, BabaylanTomorrow, we will continue to “Return to the Grim Rebirth Luo Ji”.

Walking into today’s (October 6) special section “Return to the Jurassic·Yunnan Lufeng Dinosaur Fossil Science Experiment”. In the program a few days ago, we introduced a lot of little knowledge about dinosaurs, such as dinosaurs can also suffer from “cervical spondylosis”. Lu Fenglong’s tail is different from that of kangaroos and cannot be used as a “stool”. What interesting new discoveries are there today? Continue to turn your attention to Yunnan Lufeng Dinosaur National Geopark, return to the Jurassic with the pace of scientific research, and explore the secrets of dinosaurs.

The dinosaur skeleton at the No. 2 scientific expedition site has shown its overall appearance

Follow the scientific expedition site of No. 2. The on-site work has entered a critical stage. After discovering the dinosaur’s vertebrae yesterday, what progress will be made on today’s scientific expedition site? Let’s immediately connect with CCTV reporter Zhao Shuguang. Let me introduce to us the situation of the scientific expedition site.

The restoration of dinosaur fossils unearthed at the No. 1 scientific expedition site is coming to an end

The overall appearance of the dinosaur fossil skeleton at the No. 2 scientific expedition site has been revealed. At what stage has the dinosaur fossils repair work at the No. 1 scientific expedition site unearthed before? Come and connect with CCTV reporter Zhang Yijin, who is at the Dinosaur Fossil Restoration Center.

I drew a picture of the dinosaur

The complete dinosaur repaired is still a skeleton. If we can add muscle and skin to it, and match the plants and landscapes of the past, I believe that our dinosaur will be more easily remembered by everyone. This is inseparable from the most romantic people in the laboratory. Today’s Exploration Dinosaur Laboratory will show you how scientific painters restore these disappearing friends for us.

  Jurassic Past

If a dinosaur could speak, what would it say? What kind of secrets are hidden in the skeleton fossils that have been sleeping for billions of years? In Lufeng’s Dinosaur Museum, there is a dinosaur square array, which displays various dinosaur fossils that lived in the Lufeng Basin during the Jurassic period. Most of the bones are preserved intact. These come from fossils from more than 100 million years ago, spanning time and space, telling ancient stories to us today. “If dinosaurs can talk”, let’s follow these fossils, cross the time tunnel, and go to the Jurassic era, which is now 200 million to 145 million years old, and see what kind of stories are going on there.

The story of Jurassic dinosaurs is buried in the long river of time, waiting for us to clear away the layers of fog. I also hope that the exploration of prehistoric life can help us understand the origin and meaning of life. Yunnan Lufeng Dinosaur CinemaFossil Experiment has come to an end first. Tomorrow, we will continue to “Return to Jurassic”.

Continue to enter today’s (October 7) special section “Return to the Jurassic·Yunnan Lufeng Dinosaur Fossil Science Experiment”. Today is the last day of the live broadcast of the dinosaur fossil scientific expedition in Lufeng, Yunnan. We continue to follow the scientific expedition staff to find those ancient creatures and return to the Jurassic.

Online scientific expedition is over, and follow-up research work will be launched soon

First, let’s pay attention to the No. 2 scientific expedition site. After nearly a week of work, the dinosaur skeleton has shown its overall appearance, and the on-site scientific expedition work has come to an end. How to promote the follow-up work, let’s immediately connect to CCTV reporter Zhao Shuguang, who is on the No. 2 scientific expedition site. Let me introduce to us what you know.

Salute to the scientific expedition personnel and scientists

Thanks to Zhao Shuguang for the reports sent back, and also to the staff and scientists who have been at the scientific expedition site during this period. When everyone uses our lenses to understand the world before humans emerge through dinosaurs, they also need to pay tribute to the scientific researchers and scientists behind this. It is them who found the key to open the door to time and space, allowing us to understand the past, present and future of the evolution of life on Earth.

The on-site scientific expedition has come to an end, but our scientific research journey of it has just begun. Perhaps one day, humans can better understand the information left over 200 million years of time and space.

  Look! There are dinosaurs here

After the National Day holiday, after the special program of CCTV News Channel’s “Return to Jurassic” was broadcast, the interesting field fossil scientific research and fossil restoration journey, as well as the lifelike dinosaur virtual images in the program, and the cool and interesting AR presentation have aroused the enthusiasm of children for dinosaurs.

3D scanning and printing Restore Lufeng dinosaur

In this dinosaur fossil scientific expedition, in addition to the scientific expedition staff, there were also Babaylan staff who performed real-time digital scanning of dinosaur fossils. Through real-time digital scanning, we got a 3D Lufenglong with accurate data and printed it out.

3D-printed Lufeng dinosaurs enter the exhibition hall of the Biodiversity Conference

In addition to the reporting team that is still at the scientific expedition site, another reporter from our group left Lufeng, Yunnan in advance. Their destination was the venue of the 15th meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity in Kunming. The conference is about to open on the 11th. How is the preparations now? While visiting the museum in advance, our reporter also brought an exhibit. What is it? Let’s take a look together.
