Newly discovered dinosaur fossils are under restoration

Among the more than 300 dinosaur fossils, the spine is the largest group of bones, roughly divided into the cervical vertebra, dorsal vertebra, sacral vertebra (also known as belt bone, equivalent to the human sacrum), and the caudal vertebra. Dr. Xing Lida introduced that the neck structure of carnivorous dinosaurs is indeed very complex, and the neck structure of some vegetarian dinosaurs is not simple either. Lufenglong is a vegetarian dinosaur with a small head and a thick and long neck. Each cervical vertebra is flat and long. This structure makes it easy for its neck to stretch very long and far away. This is the neck of a Chinese dragon. The Chinese dragon is carnivorous, with a large and heavy head. Its neck is rounder and thinner, with short joints and tight bites, which can make the head bite more powerful.
After scientific research and analysis, this complete dinosaur fossil was from the early Jurassic period. It was not a carnivorous species, but a brand new species. Yang Zhongjian named this dinosaur “Xu Lufenglong” to commemorate the German paleontologist Xu Nai who helped him. The emergence of the new species of dinosaurs has made Lu Feng famous in one fell swoop.
In 1995, Lu Feng, which had already caused a sensation in the world, once again made a major discovery. After Lu Fenglong, Chuanjielong from the mid-Jurassic period was discovered by chance.

Over the past 80 years, hundreds of complete and scattered dinosaur bone fossils have been unearthed in Lufeng, covering three periods of early, middle and late Jurassic, dating from 200 million to 140 million years ago. There are 13 dinosaurs named in Lufeng.
